Travel Update – Fall 2020

As we all continue to adjust, I wanted to share some updates in the travel world. Hotels worldwide are reopening, and slowly, but surely, travel is gradually beginning to come back around. Some people are starting to feel more comfortable getting on flights, others are sticking to driving distance. No matter where your comfort level falls, there are options for safe travel.

The following are a few amazing drivable getaways. All are Virtuoso hotels where I can assist with extra amenities!

This is a good time to check your passport and see if you need to renew! US Passports – Expedited passport services are once again available. With the expedited service you will have it returned in 4-6 weeks versus 10-12 now for regular service. More details at travel.state.gov.

For those comfortable with flying to Mexico, One & Only Mandarina opens November 1st and looks AMAZING. Just an hour from Puerto Vallarta (PVR) airport, it’s composed entirely of stand-alone rooms, suites, and villas. I, for one, cannot wait to stay in one of the Treehouse hotel rooms! (P.S. They still have Thanksgiving and Christmas availability.)
