Traveling with Tori- August 2021

Portugal is full of colors, waterfronts, vineyards, and historic villages.

Hey there!

I just got back from Portugal and it was amazing! This country is full of multicolored tiles, green vineyards, lively waterfronts, and quiet historic villages.

We started in Porto, such a lovely, colorful city full of the friendliest people. Then we set off on a river cruise of the Douro Valley. This was by far the most relaxing way to experience this picturesque valley. Being on the ship really connected us with a lot of other travelers, which was super fun! From there we rented a car to see the historic University of Coimbra, the countryside of Portugal, and Lisbon. This kept us busy in city centers, enjoying walking tours, visiting historic sites, and of course a little shopping! Visiting the countryside was a pleasant surprise, the pressure of finding the perfect restaurant was off and we just relaxed and enjoyed ourselves.

Being able to see Portugal without crowds of tourists was extremely special and completely worth the extra steps it took to get there and come home!

Cheers,
